For the first time ever, we launched our monthly playlist series on Spotify with Pigeons & Planes. This month, we showcased our favorite, up-and-coming UK/European acts. Check out our song choices below-
David Dann's Picks

Klangstof- The Butcher Not only one of my favorite song off of Klangstof’s album, but the one he made me fight for the most to be on there!

James Blake- Love Me In Whatever Way The meaning behind the song meant a lot to me, and James’ voice really cuts through like a knife on this.

Howling- Ame Remix I mean…..When you talk about a journey in a dance electronic record…This is up there with the best.

No Ordinary Love- Sade I think one of the purest voices to ever hit music, period. But more so in love with the whole vibe of the production. Sade is timeless.

Azad Naficy's Picks

Radiohead- Identikit Most refreshing song off of their new album to me. Love how it bridges their old sound with a new flavor (Side note: they killed their set at Lolla).

Giggs- Lock Doh Hearing this and "Whipping Excursion" for the first time was a real moment for me. It's what made me back and do my research on some grime legends. The spacing in his cadence and flow are next level.

Dave, AJ Tracey- Thiago Silva My favorite new emcee period. I remember when Titus (who runs international at MOAG) first showed me the video. The energy in that shit is contagious and both AJ and Dave really come with the bars. I think he has a real chance at crossing over in the states.

Cadenza, Jorja Smith, Dre Island- People Jorja just has such an iLL voice and perspective. And Cadenza killed it with this soundscape.
